The Trio
This work was inspired by hundreds of holiday catalogues I receive every year during Christmas time. I am always impressed with the child models in those catalogues- the way they smile, tear up presents, standing happily in their snuggies. Do they enjoy Christmas just as much as the other kids? Are they growing up fine as little commodities the way they are?
Sculpture works
I've noticed that I kind of purposely down played my role as a sculptor for the past three years. Well, there they are- my sculpture works!
The New Majority
It was originally made to be a video piece, inspired by the people around me in the bay area and NY. Being in this country for the past ten years really made me see who are the people that are making this country now- the new majority, no doubt.
Animal Kingdom
These photos are inspired by how animals trigger our deeper primal drives in everyday life- well, pretty much every moment of my life.
