Dietch Project I

Judy Wu: I was born in Taipei, 1981 and moved to New York in 2000- finished my BA in both Studio Art and Anthropology. I taught ESL to Chinese immigrant for six years in NY then moved to California in 2006 and got my MFA at CCA. My work is about studying human activities through photographing dolls that are made to mimic our behaviors in the contemporary society. I use my photographs to tell my fascination towards people’s stories, obsessions, as well as moments of insecurity and fear.
